As a documentary filmmaker, I have had the opportunity to highlight off-the-beaten-path destinations and innovative ideas, build a community of like-minded creatives, and share untold stories with a global audience. From producing independent documentaries in South America to covering the world’s top photographers in Europe, my work has taken me to far-flung places in search of the unknown. Featured in hit shows on Netflix, BBC, and Apple TV, I have over a decade of experience collaborating with the world’s leading companies, startups, and organizations to create impactful visual content.
I founded Breaking Borders, a travel journalism platform that blended documentary filmmaking, written narratives, and photography to showcase local perspectives and dispel fear of the unknown. My viral documentary on diversity in São Paulo, Brazil (2M+ views) led to a city-sponsored series on Carnival in Rio de Janeiro. Later, I worked as a video producer at LensCulture, interviewing leading photographers at major festivals like Arles, Photo London, and World Press Photo. My recent project, Highways Less Traveled, documents my cross-country van journey, culminating in a book and solo gallery exhibition in downtown San Francisco featuring fine art photography, video installations, and interactive maps.
Currently, I continue to produce and edit short films, collaborate on creative projects, and develop new documentary ideas. My goal is to create long-form films that explore urban issues, immigration, and cultural identities while amplifying underrepresented voices. Whether through independent projects or partnerships, I strive to tell authentic, immersive stories that challenge perspectives and spark conversations. My work has taken me to over 50 countries, each journey deepening my understanding of the human experience. Let’s connect and collaborate!
